monetary policy
In its meeting of 5 August2019,
the Board of the National Bank of
Romania decided:
• to keepthe monetary
policy rate at 2.50percent
per annum;
•
to leave unchangedthe
deposit facility rate
at1.50percent per annum
and the lending facility
rate at3.50percent per
annum;
•
to maintain the existing
levels of minimum
reserve requirement
ratios on both leu- and
foreign currency-
denominated liabilities of
credit institutions.
